Saturn 22nd may

Hi all,

The seeing was extremely good, and I used a software to capture the video, which make the capture much easier.

Took 6000 frames, 3000 stacked at AS!2, wavelet in Registax and final touches in PS.

Titan is visible as well!

Ilan - simply stunning result in these images - nice to see what you can do with the 200P in good seeing at fl 5m and obviously the 600d is more than up to the challenge for imaging (except for some excellent lunar images, I don't think I've seen much other planetary imaging with DSLR).

The most I've managed so far is fl 3m with my 200P - lets hope the astro gods can offer us all some better seeing before the month is out ;)

Thanks again everyone!

Great images you managed, what resolution & frame rate did you use on the 600d ?

The frame rate was 28 and the resolution was 848х560.

BTW Ilan did you use BackyardEOS for capturing?

I used EOS camera movie record, it's a free software and really easy to use, BackyardEOS was too slow for me - the FPS was 5!
