TouCam/PST SUN 5.11.07

Not a lot happening on the sun right now and not easy getting an image between clouds.

I managed to capture this solar prominence to share with you all...

Grant i have tried a few times to get a clear image using a DSLR but to no avail.

I would say a webcam at the very least is required here.

As a matter of interest, what difference do you think using Renfrew's expensive solar scope (the one beautifully displayed at Keilder) would make with the same toucam?

I am hoping that the difference will be significant considering the cost...

I will get the chance soon enough to try it out....(im in the Q)

I was rather hoping to learn the ins and outs on the PST before i try out my soon to be solar project.

The views i had through a similar scope project (at Kielder) were near on identical "visually" as the RAS 60mm.
