Hi all, received a scope for my birthday recently after having an interest in astronomy for a while but i am a complete novice, hoping to get some clear skies to get outside and try my scope out. Had my scope set up Friday night and not had a clear night yet. Never mind, ..... All those that wait and all that.

As I drove home with total blue sky and a dazzling sunset thought I 'd be out tonight. WRONG!

It's now hailing from a totally cloud-covered sky. Got to improve soon. Hasn't it??
