Reading the weather forums next week see's the possibility of major cold spell flooding in from the East - although as usual these things poised on a knife edge. Much like my chances of appearing Saturday - may be a little late if I'm not forced into the Mead tent on Saturday afternoon in Caerphilly - apologies in advance for the 7pm headlights

No snow today Tony,tonights meet is off folks.Theres a large bank of cloud heading our way and by 6pm the site will be clouded out.Fingers crossed for clear skies for the crimbo session.

I think I will have a little look in the garden until it clouds over as I can't make next weekend as I have my Xmas outing with work. It's looking good here at the moment so even an hour would be good

Good Call Matt - was going to set up the scope in the garden but can see the bank of clouds to the North - went into the garden and its patchy clouds already overhead.

Got 12 days off for Christmas hopefully can get up to Blaenavon or Brecon on at least one night = plenty to look forward to on the astronomical front.

I was in the garden watching the wall of cloud roll in from the NW at 6pm Steve,i will be having a few sessions up Blaenavon and Brecon over the christmas period i will put a shout out in the room when im heading out

Thanks for the input on the ep's mat,hopefully something sorted real soon.You're right about opt, I just priced a hotech collumator with them and even with shipping it's still 25.00 cheaper than what you can get it over here

Another head's up guy's astropanel showing crystal clear Monday and Tuesday nights, bit late for the group sessions I know but will be another chance for midweek garden astronomy at least.
