NGC 55

This is NGC 55, an irregular galaxy about 7 million light years away in Sculptor. It's 34 X 300sec exposures from a canon 1000D, 250px [not a 300px as i incorrectly originally posted] on an EQ6. Processed in DSS ad PixInsight. It seems to have come out ok. I was a bit dubious of how this would turn out as the first few subs didn't have much.

Excellent delicate image. More proof that DSLRs thrive on fast f ratios, as well. Lovely light processing without the 'Pixinsight look' which sometimes asserts itself on the subject.

Olly

Olly I think that comes from over enthusiastic use of the HDR took, which I hardly ever use. :)
