anthony
A recent mount regrease and I couldn't wait to get imaging. This is over two nights 6th and 7th sept. SXV H9, SXV guide cam, ed100. 9 x 10 min subs for Ha and OIII. assigned OIII to R and Ha to B in image 1. T'other way round for image two.OIII collected on night number two - unfortunately a visiting relative and an excuse for a few pints meant that focus was not quite right. I didn't realise until 90mins of subs had passed Quite pleased and eager for some darker nights.Shrunk a little and compressed to postAnthony

barkis
This particular nebula always has fascinated me. I know it is aptly named, because it looks exactly like a bubble. It is almost too perfect a shape, and apparently there is a giant molecular cloud which is preventing further expansion. The massive hot central star, whose stellar wind is creating the bubble, also is causing the cloud to glow. I am just rambling again. It is a superb image Anthony. Ron.
