Seen this timelapse from the ISS?

Amazing.

Couldn't help but think about light pollution as it flew over the molten droplets that represent are cities and towns.

When it passed over the UK(At around 3:10) I couldn't believe how easily you could make out it's entire shape from streetlights alone.

Gave me goose bumps, thanks for posting.

Just shows how small we are and also what a monster we have created in light pollution.

I would love to be up there to see the aurora for my self though! :grin:

The only problem was they had the ISS stuck in reverse for this bit as it always passes West to East :smiley:
