Evening all! I am a (very) newbie popping in to say 'hello'. I've had a fascination with the stars and skies for as long as I can remember. Tonight was my first night out with my new telescope which was my 40th birthday treat earlier this week! I wasn't expecting too much as I know it's only entry-level kit but I was absolutely blown away by the view of Jupiter I had. Cloud bands and 4 moons clearly visible. Can't wait to get out again! In fact, Saturn should be out in about two and a half hours...
