think i may try bala in wales to see how dark that is for trips next winter.3 hours isnt really that far to drive although theres only usually about 3 hours of darkness hmmmm

I had a couple of hours out last night and spent most of it viewing Saturn. Absolutely stunning, I could pick out the cassini division, shadow on the planet, moons and subtle banding on the planet which was made all the better by actually sitting on one of my dining room chairs to view! Very relaxing.
