Hi all,

I am joining-up after last weeks BBC Stargazing Live programmes re-whetted my appetite for stargazing (I wonder how many others have also joined for that reason ?). I am in the process of dusting-down my Skywatcher Mak 102 scope before getting on with some observation of the Moon and planets.

My No 1 interest is lunar observing, and I have a small collection of lunar images I took a few years back, which I hope to share soon, whilst setting up my kit to take some more using a Nikon DSLR.

Hope to chat with everyone soon in the Lunar / Planetary forums.

Hi Ian and welcome to the forum. Quite a few people have joined from our city which given our light pollution levels is a minor miracle! Send me a private message (top right of your screen) if you want to get the low down of what's happening in our area.
