Hello everyone

I have always had a interest in astronomy but never had the opportunity to pursue it due to work and raising a family. My family knew of my fascination with astronomy, so they decided to buy me my first telescope for my fiftieth birthday, a cpc 800 gps . Needless to say I was shocked when it was given to me complete with an eyepiece kit and Neximage webcam. that was four months ago and I am still in shock. So as a bigginer I am looking forward to getting started on this forum and asking lots of questions.
