not imaged much this year due to other issues but really good to get out again. Easy to forget how amazing the night sky is.

M33 with 80ed 0.85fr on EQ6 running EQMOD

30% full frame and a 1:1 core

383L with baader 36mm filters

about 1h R,G and 1.5h B

processed exclusively in pixinsight

I agree the star colour and the emission nebulae within M33 look fantastic. It would be worth gathering some more data to smooth out the noise and it will be top shelf stuff. I know what you mean about it being a lean time imaging. Nice to get out there and bag some photons.

Great image Darren, it's a tricky one M33 and you've done an excellent job of the processing. Really well done. How do you find the 383? It's on my wish list ! Which FW do you use with it?

Spikey, enjoy using the 383L no problems at all - using with a starlight xpress filter wheel - did try 1.25 filters but @ f6.3 found the vignetting unusable whereas the 36mm filters have no problems and you can still get all 7 in the carousel. (wouldnt want to change them in the dark)

Agreed Kevin I need more data to reduce the noise, question is (something I struggle with) do I continue with more rgb or would I be better to go for some luminance?
