Fantastic Tich - nice one

How are you managing to post the pictures directly in the thread - I used to be able to do it in the old software but have sort of lost my way with it at the moment.

This is just a copy and paste from my gallery but it doesn't retain the same size as the original?

I just use Photobucket as a host site & post my images via that, never had any problems. have you tried the full editor on here as it gives you the option to upload attatchments?

Some stunning pics there tich. Fingers crossed for pencelli, jupiter should be pretty good by then :-)

Thanks David, cant wait to see you guys again & looking forward to seeing Jupiter again, the image you managed to capture was awesome, what camera did you use?

Hmm there must be a way to do it directlly from your Gallery I'll just persevere

fantastic photos though what rig are you using to get them?

I'm still getting my head round the new forum format myself as threads I'm subscribed to I'm not getting emailed or any reminders so I'm guessing there's a few bugs maybe..

Those pictures were taken using my 200P on an EQ5 Pro & flashed Philips SPC 880 webcam, the solar image was taken using using my ST80 on the same mount & Canon 1000D camera. The next day I tried getting another image of the sun using the 200P & the Canon & loads were out of focus, but I did manage a few that came out ok. I did try imaging it using the webcam but I could only fit about a 3rd of the sun in the FOV.
