As a beginner I was advised by some friends to join SGL - so have and I am very impressed.

I live in Yorkshire and although I have had a long held interest in astronomy I now have time to get more involved. No telescope yet but I think Santa might have one in his sack for me:)

I hope to meet up with you all in the forums over the coming weeks/months/years

I hope so - its looking like a Celestron 130 SLT - the goto will help me find my feet then I hope to move on in a few years time to upgrade and start finding objects under my own steam!!!
