Now We have Changed the clocks

Recommended Posts

Just so we are clear on the polarfinder - at the moment I have mine linked to the clock on my PC, which automatically went back 1 hour last weekend. So, I assume that the times & positions that polarfinder brings up now will be correct (shows times for the current & the following 1 hour in 15 minute intervals)? Is this right, ie what I now see in polarfinder is accurate?

Yes I would like to know the answer to Polarfinder software. Does it adjust in the summer so that Polaris is in the correct place? Or do you have to subtract an hour from what you are seeing on the polarfinder screen?

Me too. I knew that DST was BST, but given the fact that everything suddenly started appearing right at the edge of my FOV in my 32mm EP last night, I'm now assuming the Polar finder doesn't compensate.

Until I saw this thread, I hadn't considered that.
