Used 300d 20 iso, newt, 25mm ep, 4 panes glued together.

The "dodgy" bit happens a lot. It's caused by the sun not shining on that bit.

Out of interest, have you used the 300 prime focus with a "T" adaptor yet?

Phil, I can't reach focus with the 'T' adapter, so I just attach the adapter to the camera, and hold it to the ep, it's not ideal, but it works.

What a pain, all my scopes have the same problem except my 130mm

which has had it's mirror shoved further up the tube
