NLCs 3/7/11 from County Durham

Hi gazers, there was a modest display up here on 30/6/11, but last night's (3/7/11) was the most spectacular I have seen since the 'NLC Summer' of 2009. All shots were taken with my EOS20D, Sigma 18-200mm lens (usually at around 18-30mm focal length, f8, ISO800). A bit of level adjustment and high pass sharpening.

How long were the exposures?

Thanks for the comments. Rob, the exposures varied around 2-5 seconds at ISO800, f8. I wanted a reasonable depth of field to get some foreground in focus while keeping exposures short, so cloud movement didn't result in softer cloud detail.

Thanks for the comments guys. I will have to look for some interesting foreground in future. Maybe shoot over the local reservoir to get the reflection.
