Just looked at the hourly forecast for tonight and looks pretty good after 11pm so going to get my gear ready and hope to get out there for the first time since getting my scope 3 weeks ago, so here's hoping

Best of luck guys. There hasn't been a really clear night up here in West Central Scotland in about 7 weeks. Still, it is never really dark at any point in the "night" over June/July this far North. So roll on mid August and the start of the "Season" up here.

Enjoy the Summer skies.

We have a good few clear nights over the past few weeks but I seriously haven't been bothered enough to actually get out and observe. The fact that it never gets really dark enough to observe until gone midnight and I have to be up for work most days puts me off setting up the dob and getting stuck in. Hopefully my motivation will return once the autumn nights start to draw in.

Time for a Stella Artois Cidre on ice then

Whats that stuff like then? I was tempted to get some while out shopping earlier, but instead plumped for the Magners.

The Sun has finally started to break through the cloud blanket here, but I dont think its going to clear enough for a decent session (again!) :hello2:

I was hoping for clear skies too, I've got a bunch of new equipment to try out. Don't think it's going to happen for me though. I'm jealous of all you guys getting out tonight!
