hi mate this sensor is just toooooooooooooooo small for m42 and as you no if ya push the mag up with the v lounge software focus is then a pain,as is gain get a cheap dslr of flea bay you can pick one up for around 100 or spend money on a bigger ccd chip for the philips get on you tube theres a couple a vids how to fit the bigger ccd chip which is about 3x bigger i gave up with the spc its great for the moon but any thing else its just not got a good sensor unless its been modded would be intrered to see what other pics you do get with it

yes me and elisha had a great night thanks

hi paul the new focuser works a treat and enables better focus with the 300d the goto we have is a bit slack and some times with the dslr atached it does not like it ,i will have a look at the action on the inside of the 90mm later to see why mine playsup, the prob is am looking forward to get in out there my self so a can get some 1 / 2 min shots of m42 and all the rest be great, even the moon is a good target for me to parctice on at the min we have cloud at the min here but the metcheck say clear after 21:00 tonight so we will see cheers pat

hi well its the skywatcher one so a hope it does not aa will fuse the cable from power tank to scope as well a think a lot of people use the ones that start cars that are unstable but a think that this one should be safe or skywatcher would have big probs ,the crawford dual speed focuser came and ya was right tere was a gap and a simple diy job sorted it a posted a pick in dob users group just got to wait to test it all out its the low profile on the 1.25" adsaper is rubbish that will need a up grade at some point a williams optics 1.25 adapter should do the trick cheers pat

hi yes it does but once get to grips withthe cannon ,and when the crawford focuser gets here we should able to get direct shots through the dob,ive been reading the manaul nightand day and play in with it but the meade goto does allow you to focus on one spot for lomger so you get a long video about 90 secs is enoght with low gain and loe expo and ya can always play about with them later ,isabelle have a look at a program called photoscape its free and its nice and quick and really works well for something that is free unless you have photo shop cheers now
