I can see why you would be obssessed with the moon.

what camera do you have ?these are not the best pics biut there a start the clouds were out as well but they never showed up in the pics focus was hard to get and the moon was zoom in out a focus all the time a must try harder at Saturn tho they is so hard but kes the challenge better your sun pics are good as well

I have recently purchased a Cannon EOS 1000D with a T-Ring and 1.25" adapter.

A moon filter from FLO helped aswell.

I looked at the H-alpha scopes and sun filters, nearly fell off my chair when I saw the price of those items.

yes them scopes are not cheap ,i was have in a play with a 1000D the other night, telesto clive has one he brought it round to my house and took a few pics,of the moon with the 12" dob they a nice cam the screEn did not turn of tho and deep space pics was ok as well picked a few thing outin the pics can not wait to see ya pics,did you get the short orlong adapter ?

hi isabelle,i was go in for the full set of pics but last night wa cloudy the forcast says it will be clear at 01:30 thats late but a want to get the full moon so a can have the full set for archive for aprils moon phases how you get in on with things ?

That idea for an archive is a good one but I must admit that the weather had never truly participated with that idea for me. I hope you have a chance tonight!

never did and still not manages a full month moon pic cycle its very hard with the clouds buy will master it some time a hope
