That refrigerated loo roll sounds like a great idea!

If you are using a switch mode power supply this is quite common... most dont use an earth connection and can therefore float a bit above it.

Try adding an earth wire to the legs of the tripod.

If this does not cure it, then change to a stabilised DC power supply with an isolation transformer built in...FLO sell the Maplin one.

ah no!! i feel your pain :( my notebook battery dies too the other night :(

OUCH!! That is really bad.

Everything else works fine just not USB, No PS2 so remoted onto it and all looks good. Couple of PCI cards will do the trick.. Just annoying
