A nice sunny day to receive a Baader Solar sheet, can do my first Solar observing now. Alot smaller then I thought.

It's very nice other here, there mad on there bikes though. For my 50th today we went to a nice restaurant called senses for a 7 course meal food was outstanding would recommend it . Having a great time dave.

My first telescope was the 12"skywatcher dob in August 2021 seeing Jupiter and the moons and Saturn for the first time I was blown away

Hi all. It's my 50th birthday Thursday, my wife has just said she's booked a table for 2 at Senses Restaurant ,and need to pack today because we're leaving in the morning. Feeling confused about having to pack and leaving in the morning, she says I've booked 5 nights at the Ink Hotel and the restaurant is in Amsterdam. How nice is she to arrange all this ,friends are coming round each day to look after the horses, dogs, cats and chickens and the boys are staying at their nans and she's taking them to school. Has any one been to Amsterdam any tips on museum's etc. Dave

Great report kon. I too was continuing the fuzzy hunt last night found alot of fuzzys in Markarians Chain in groups of 2 and 3 . Finished with the Sombrero galaxy very low in the sky. There's so much more you're mentioned I haven't seen but after a few nights out in the freezing cold I think I need a rest. Dave

Belmullet is a lovely area just a cross the water or a long drive round is achill island stunning place to go

If you make it down to mayo give me a shout you could pop round for tea or coffee
