  1. I think it's this one. But I got it from the SGL classifieds for only £50
  2. I have an opticstar 127mm f9.5, bresser remake. It's heavy but still easy to carry out . There is CA but I use a Lumicon 2" Minus Violet filter which helps. If using it for planetary and the moon I would recommend a skytee II mount very quick to set up and start observing. The view's are good but I haven't looked through any other refractor to see the difference. The moon picture was taken using my phone
  3. Hi TBRHussaR. Could you add a photo I'm sure someone would be able to help you.
  4. Whan I done a star test and everything was concentric . How much more improved would the view be if I adjusted the secondary mirror slightly
  5. I had to check what those 4 screw marks where . It's the inside of the collimation cap.
  6. I done a star test last night and the rings were concentric. I got a laser collimator today to check it out but it's taken me nearly all day to collimate it.🤣
  7. It looks just out , is it the secondary or primary
  8. First attempt at Jupiter. 12"skywatcher dob. Es82 6.7mm. Samsung a52 hand held at the ep. Single shot no editing
  9. Nice postman just brought me this thanks to @jeffwjz .
  10. No telescope just my phone samsung a52 iso3200 5secs hand held.
  11. Just done a star test and the rings are concentric no more triangular shape. I've never seen the stars so sharp , should have done this along time ago instead of putting it off ( being scared).
  12. How do you get the blue, green and red circles overlaying
  13. My flocking material was due to arrive today from flo. Waiting in anticipation I disassembled the dob. And cleaned the inside. Not long after, the postman arrived with the flocking material. After watching a quick video on YouTube I decided to cut the meter long material in half to make it more manageable. . After the flocking was done I used masking tape to get rid of any loose debris and excess fluff. Now it was time to reassemble the dob, starting with a new duel speed focuser. The primary mirror wasn't that dirty but the clips had been done up tight giving me pinched optics. I cleaned the mirror while it was out using the finger method and a drop of washing up liquid. Nice clean mirror. I used a piece of card under the clips so there not tight anymore. Everything back together now, seems like a new dob. I also cleaned the bearings on the lazy susan and regreased them and it swings so smooth. Only thing left is to collimate which I've never done before, im using a cap and a Cheshire. Will do a star test next time there out. Dave.
  14. Mirror back in and just had my first go at collinmation what do you think is it ok, waiting for my laser to arrive so done with cap and Cheshire
  15. Does it matter if the screws on the clips are not tight otherwise I cannot slide a piece of card in between the clip and the mirror.
  16. Just taken off clips , mirror has just been washed and drying before I put the clips back on will let you know how it goes
  17. The mirror doesn't rotate and the clips look like they have been done up tight
  18. Nice postman just brought me some flocking material thanks to flo and their fast delivery. Now the fun begins
  19. Not the postman, Mrs S just brought me this back from the UK. A nice duel speed focuser
  20. That one is finished, what you going to put in the next one
