  1. That weight will only work if you use a vixen type bar, it wonโ€™t fit on a losmandy.... ๐Ÿ‘ edit, the Losmandy version is the second one on the list marked as 3โ€
  2. I am sorry but I completely disagree, an item can be used but still be in perfect condition...you just canโ€™t expect to get a new price for it...I have a scope I bought secondhand and was not used much at all by the previous owner, and I am extremely fussy, when I went to see it, I inspected it all very very closely, and it was totally as new, and completely unmarked, not even a fingerprint on the tube, so it does happen, but I did only pay 70% of the new price.... ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜€
  3. No, thatโ€™s deffo not an ETX60, itโ€™s the DS....but not sure on aperture... And no the Aux is not for a phone, itโ€™s for other Meade attachments, such as GPS and focuser modules..
  4. I thought at first it was a new camera they had released, as they do a range of SV105, 205, and 305....
  5. I think that is the same scope as RVO are now selling under there own name... Magbe not as thereโ€™s is a 72mm, so ignore me, but seems good spec for the money....comes with an optical report too... ๐Ÿ‘
  6. And here, and states you can have it for the 6th July.... ๐Ÿ‘ https://www.raig.co.uk/skywatcher-refractor-esprit-120-ed-apo-optical-tube-b27a/
  7. Also here too... https://www.harpersphoto.co.uk/refractortelescopes/skywatcher-esprit-120ed-f5-professional-apo-triplet-refractor.html
  8. Have you asked here, they are very good.... https://www.widescreen-centre.co.uk/sky-watcher-esprit-120ed-pro-super-apo-triplet-refractor-telescope.html
  9. Yes, do check, as they never have any items out of stock, ๐Ÿค” I fell foul of that, so I always ask now, and itโ€™s amazing how many items they do not have in stock but have, according to the website...
  10. I thought that using this method you needed to be around 50-100 metres away... to get an accurate result, when they do it in workshops I would not think they use an artificial star method, but maybe a laser set up, that works very closely to the scope, but also very expensive.... ๐Ÿค”
  11. Edit, itโ€™s correct here.... ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜€ 2xDC12V (3A), 3xUSB2.0, 1xDC in/1xDC out, iPort.1X USB input for mount and USB hub
  12. Just to confirm, the cheaper version DOES NOT have USB 3.0 just the more expensive version, which is a lot extra to pay for jut USB 3 when I already have autoguider.... ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”
  13. Been teasing us for weeks now...... ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I donโ€™t reckon they have any really..... ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  14. TBH, I am in the market to look at buying one of these mounts... NOW, and donโ€™t really want to go looking elsewhere.... ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰
  15. Yes cโ€™mon, we want to see the pictures and listings on your site.... ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
  16. Trash to you, but very helpful to people in some far corners of the globe..... maybe put yourself in there shoes, and then see if you still think they are trash.... Dont get me wrong I am a lover of all things astronomy, and would rather they not be in the way of my sensor...but things move on... ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜€
  17. Are you sure that is Starlink, as they all in a single line..... ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”
  18. We will agree to completely disagree on this then...๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜€
  19. Yes, correct you can pay on collection, but via PayPal, that is what that means if agreed with buyer or seller....eBay will not promote the word cash anywhere, or endorse it as a way of paying.... I have just bought a bike, and when I collected I transferred the funds via PayPal at his house...simples... ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€ I am not saying you canโ€™t Collect, Itโ€™s just you should use PayPal so you are both covered...
  20. Absolutely wrong and eBay will not encourage this, if you want to do it with your buyer or the person you are selling too, then itโ€™s at your own risk, and eBay will not help at all if anything goes awry....trust me I found out the hard way.... There is an option for collection, absolutely, but there is no option whatsoever for cash on collection, sorry but you are wrong.... ๐Ÿ‘ from the eBay site, like I said itโ€™s at your own risk, it you canot advertise COC as itโ€™s not allowed by eBay and is discouraged... In addition to PayPal or credit card, you can sometimes pay with an alternative payment method (as agreed with your seller) either beforehand, or when you pick up your item. Sellers may also accept cash for local collection purchases. Items collected in person are still covered by eBay Money Back Guarantee if paid for with PayPal, however eBay Money Back Guarantee does not cover cash on collection transactions, or transactions where the item was not collected by the buyer.
  21. First of all as per EBay rules cash on collection is NOT an option anymore, eBay state clearly that the transaction must be either PayPal or bank transfer, so although what the OP reported may well have been a scam, you are not supposed to buy anything from eBay and pay cash on collection anymore, if you do itโ€™s not covered by eBay whatsoever, even if you get home and the item is completely useless, if you have collected and paid cash, they will turn you away, and the seller wins...itโ€™s to protect the buyer... so just an FYI... ๐Ÿ‘
  22. No, itโ€™s just a normal Ascom driver, so you can use the camera in your imaging software of choice... ๐Ÿ‘
  23. Hmmm, not quite the same price, $16 versus ยฃ84 nice mark up.... ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
