  1. They deleted it to prevent post being erased after problems get solved. Your triple message will be eternal
  2. Its shifting. Dont know about bresser maks but i’ve read that turning the knob all the way to one end, not sure which, helps setting the mirror and could improve the stability and help with this problem.
  3. Ah ok. So the option: ”AZ100 + Encoders” is only for users that already own another nexus dsc?
  4. Yes thanks. I was directed a bit to that thread last week. I might have read over it, but i cant find if the version with just encoders will work when planning to use skysafari for example. They offer the encoders, but where are they connected to when not having a nexus?
  5. Power box ready to go......up in flames😉. No, i hope for no short circuit issues, but unprotected softwood can soak up a lot of water(dew). Best to spraypaint the inside? edit: i meant it as advice. Dont know if someone is aware of softwood and its characteristics.
  6. the ones good reviewed and adviced here one sgl are meanwell psu's. Not too expensive and good. i bought a 6 and 8 A. Just pay attention to the connector. 55x2.1 is the most used i guess, but 55x2.5 is also a common so dont buy the wrong one. The best choice is probably a linear psu but they are so huge. something like this would work for an asiair: Mean Well GST60A12-P1J Tafelnetvoeding, vaste spanning 12 V/DC 5 A 60 W | Conrad.nl
  7. Maybe an old version or a skywatcher with a celestron handbox?
  8. Mmm it is ok like in 50/50. Best is to get rid of the cigarette connector and use a 6 or 8A psu with an attached cable. Thats the best solution. When you use a batterypack then your only option would be the cigarette connector.
  9. I think esatto, or maybe even better, a feather touch+motor. But esatto is the one where you dont have to translate the manual. And a nice way to use esatto for photography and the mewlon manual focusknob for visual. So if you can handle the temperament and lifestyle of the italian, like no contact possible between 12 and 15 for example (including a particular cnc company in Rimini) i would also choose the esatto.
  10. I know i have really no reason to be here but one thing i like to know about this mount. Followed a bit the threads about the (in the future planned) motors for this mount. Does it all work with the current encoders and nexus computer? Thx.
  11. Is it not much easier to use rings with a clamp instead of rings on bar, with a clamp, with a clamp? https://www.firstlightoptics.com/adm-vixen-type-v-series/adm_vdpa_adaptor.html
  12. Thx. Needed to go to my pc instead of phone.
  13. Didnt know that. Saw only the russian translation option. is it in the same menu?
  14. On CN there are 100+ threads about this scope. From coating coming of the inside of the lens to rust inside the focuser to powdercoat problems. Oh no just kidding🤩. Congrats with this new beauty!
  15. Too bad i dont understand a thing. But it looks like he solves a lot of gear problems.
  16. Very True, thanks for this all explaining review. You answered most of the questions people might have before making a decision
  17. Funny option. this is probably only android/windows based. But indeed i think besides the drainage of the battery, a system like asiair/stellarmate or other just skips the whole oldfashioned need for hard wired connection. Plus 1000+ more benefits with controlling/tracking/guiding/AP/skysafarietc. But again, a fun option🙂.
  18. Yes i see all the impossibilities now.😬. Really stupid idea.
  19. I think the “not C” models are different. Did you use an mak 180 or sct 8 before? Im curious how they compare and if they really are different
