  1. I have used the red line SvBony 20mm eyepieces in my binoviewers and IMO they are very clear and impressive, easily as good as my WO eyepieces.
  2. Hi Chris, welcome to this most friendly and knowledgeable astronomy site.
  3. I recently bought a 4Tronix remote focuser kit for my Skywatcher motor focuser which worked fine until the motor ceased working. Before I sell the kit does anyone know if I could use another motor with this kit as the Skywatcher motor is connected with a plug with 4 wires whereas my motor only has 2.
  4. Theoretically if the 2 parellizing screws are protruding the same then you should be good. I think you will be fine if you just take your time and tighten and loosen a little at a time.
  5. I fitted one of those focusers to my ST120 and they are quite a simple design. If you dismantle it you will be able to work out how it works and how to adjust it. Should you have any problems let me know and if I will strip mine down and try to explain it further.
  6. The Skywatcher RACI was the first extra I bought for my 200P and it is the best thing to improve your scope IMO,

    Hello

    Hi Roy, welcome to SGL.
  12. Sounds like the old saying “if it looks to be good to be true then it probably is” has proved to be right on this occasion 🙁
  13. Thank you for your excellent review, I have ordered one the strength of your detailed report as it looks like a very reasonable alternative to other available parallelograms. I will post my findings when I have set it up and put it through it’s paces. Thank you again Steve.
  14. Well that does make sense, I was beginning to imagine you as the Incredible Hulk 😀
  15. I agree with Mike, it is not recommended to wipe the lens as you could cause scratches.
  16. I also favour the belt drive over direct drive as your mounting position is more flexible.
  17. Hi Jay, welcome to SGL.
  18. If the eyepieces are the ones supplied with your scope then the 25mm should be fine but the 10mm are not very good. It could be condensation which should be easily seen. Make sure you take your scope and eyepieces outside about 30 to 45 minutes before you start viewing to acclimatise to the conditions.
  19. If your bedroom is upstairs it must be a bit of a struggle to get it downstairs 🤔
  20. What eyepiece are you using, or does this happen with all your eyepieces ?
