So i am planning to put together my camera , rotator , filter drawer and in my qualqulations i will be -0.45 or -0.55mm of the required 55mm spacing.. Is that error going to give me problems in my images ?

I just got my Zwo Asi2600MC Pro and i will buy two filters , one broadband and one narrowband.... So i decided to be , the Optolong L Pro or Idas D2 and the Optolong L extreme... My problem is money 🤣 so i need your advice on which filter shall i buy first....to start with...

I am reading this topic with a lot of interest because I am on the same path of choosing the correct filter for my new Zwo Asi2600Mc pro which is on the way.... Since I live in Athens with Bortle 8-9, for sure I will buy the Optolong L extreme for, lets say, short of a narrowband imaging(I use to image with an Atik 383+mono) so I know already that I am not going to get the same Nebula details that I would like to... but I think that I need also a Light Pollution filter that will act as a luminance filter that I can put on top of my narrowband images...and also be able to shoot some Galaxies. Do you think that is possible to do that?

I am also interested in a raspberry pi 4 but I can't configure how I will put this small motherboard all together in a box to make it work.... If its not a big trouble can you post a couple of photos to get an idea?

Nice image Andy , I was wondering if you could give me some info about your scope , bortle scale of your area because from what I see unfortunately I can't reach my budget for the Asi2600MC Pro and my next choice is the 294MC Pro....Amazing but I am still surprised by the images I see from this camera !

Thank you, my problem is that these dual band - triband or quad band filters dont come out in 36mm so the only option is for 2inch which ofcourse more expensive 😩

Thank you Adam for explaining this to me....anyway I was thinking it's not going to work since they were vignetting on my Atik383l+ mono that has smaller sensor. I use to have 36mm filters....

I think that a filter like the Optolong l extreme will make a difference on imaging results since I live in a city.

Thank you Dave , I will pair it with an Esprit100ED and with WO RedCat51.....it will be undersampled with the RedCat51 but wide... I was checking the Astronomy Tools website to see what kind of filter size I can go with and the minimum recommendation was for 30.8mm if I am not mistaken.....Does that mean that a 1.25" filter will not cause vignetting.. ?

Thank you Gina , I appreciate your answer , deffently I will never compare the results from a mono ccd with a Color CMOS unless technology goes so far...but if I can get descent results to be happy with I will spend to buy this camera and a filter as well 😀
