  1. Hi, a good start. Try and get even illumination with the etchalon and the tuner. I did a tutorial on this albeit with a Lunt 60mm DS. Second image was through misty cloud, challenging sky.
  2. lovely, I'm not usually a lunar imager but I might just start after processing one from November that I didn't bother with. I usually do solar imaging but you've inspired me, thanks.
  3. Hi all, as I'm not usually someone who does lunar imaging I'd not processed this experimental one from 26th November 2020. It was taken with C11 @ F10 using an old Zwo ASI 120mm. Stacked in Autostakker3 and sharpening in ImPPG. Think I might be lunar imaging in the future if I get some clear skies. I'm usually a solar imager. A different learning curve from solar.
  4. Fix a pulley system on my dome. Much easier to open and close now.
  5. This is four of our 3 day old cat's. Only kept one, the rest to their forever homes. Our black cat at 3weeks old, lol.
  6. Yeah Jeremy, taught me never to disregard overcast skies again.
  7. Hi all, just posting a solar image from yesterday 15th January 2020. Was fighting a murky sky (pics attached) so was unable to pull out any proms. I got something though. Lunt 60mm DS and Zwo Asi 178mm. False colour added in PS CS2 and Sharpening in ImPPG.
  8. Lunt/Breeser have been brilliant. I'd bought a second hand Lunt. It's a 2011 model so I thought best to ask about changing the O'rings. Bresser posted two pairs free of charge for my Lunt. Still going strong today.
  9. Brilliant, can't wait, I'll only be 103. I saw it in 1986.
  10. I just used the free Photoshop app. Applied the following. A little sharpening, dehaze, adjusted contrast and applied a little denoise colour rendition and saturation.
  11. I hope you don't mind but I played with one of your images, great potential, well done.
  12. Testing out the new retrofit skywatcher autofocuser on the 80ed White Light-Ca-K scope. Working straight away, including the software, brilliant. Now all I need is the Sun, lol. VID_20210115_141811.mp4
  13. Similar to one I got from another firm recently for £37.
  14. How secure is this, I had my shed broken into many years ago and had my 12inch SCT stolen, never recovered but thankfully it was insured. I had three lock's on the door as well. Happened when I was away on holiday.
  15. I went for a second hand Lunt after reading the bad QC of Daystar. Never looked back and my Lunt is a 2011 pressure tuned model. Hope you get sorted out.
  16. Astronomer's are easily distracted by more bright shiny objects I'm afraid.
