  1. I've only taken a few nebula at the moment, not really had time to really put it through it's paces but it certainly reducers the glow compared to not using it. I've two LED lights near my property. Big difference between not using it and using it even on a comet. There must be others who can advise who have used it more extensively. Found something that might be helpful. https://www.astrofotoblog.eu/?tag=hutech-idas-lps-d2
  2. I use a 2inch D2 filter for LED street lighting in a bottle 3/4. It's brilliant for my particular light pollution but expensive.
  3. Brilliant Jeremy, actually fascinating.
  4. Welcome back and hopefully your health improves immensely.
  5. I send all my relevant solar imaging data to the BAA solar section. As do my planetary image's to the various BAA sections. Variable nebula data goes to the BAA deepsky section in the past but not done any this season, but I hope to and that's where they'll be sent. I'm of the mindset that I don't want to take pretty pictures just for the sake of it.
  6. Hi all, as if Santa didn't bring enough, lol. New case for my white light/Ca-K scope. Big brother to my Lunt 60mm DS.

  17. Well, I run a cheap £15 WiFi one off Amazon. It's been great and not had any issues despite what others have said. Just my penny's worth, lol. I've even got one overlooking the dome which is also great for picking up bats, lol.
  18. Final incarnation of the new to me Revelation 80ed that I had yesterday for Christmas. I've added the solar finder and tilt plate for solar observation and imaging.
  19. Final incarnation of my new to me frac. Solar finder and tilt plate adapter attached.
  20. Came across this quote from the SGL forum a few years ago. I'll stick my toe in the shark infested waters and say that I believe that the revelation 80 is one of many clones made by long perng identical to the william optics ZS80II's. Others include the moonfish 80mm 'scope and a host of others im sure people can add.
