  1. Hi all, just processed some images of the sun from yesterday. Lunt 60mm single stack, zwo asi120mm, 0.5 reducer and 3x barlow was used for full disk and prominence respectively.
  2. Omg, close call. Nice pic though. That's why I prefer dedicated solar telescopes.
  3. Hi all, just did some processing of a mars avi taken last year on the 3rd August 2018. To be honest when I looked at the avi I didn't think much of it at the time. 12inch f4 newt at f20 and zwo asi 224mc,

  11. I use a 0.5 reducer to get a full disk with my 60mm lunt and a zwo asi120mm camera, hope that helps.
  12. Cool disk, how do you add prom image to disk image? I've photoshop but not worked out how. My set up is only single stack 60mm lunt but shows a little of the same feature's.
  13. Hi all, missed the big prom this morning but did get out about an hour ago. Did some images, first one to go of disk, a little going on upper right corner on disk, very small spot middle upper right with small white area, but nothing major. Images taken with lunt 60mm ha scope, 0.5X reducer (to obtain full disk) zwo asi120mm, 750 stack in autostakker3, wavelets in registax6, false colour added in Photoshop CS2.
  14. I've never really taken much interest in the moon, but you've inspired me to have a go, thanks.
  15. Cool, thanks for the tip off, will take a look if it clears, high misty clouds around sun at the moment.
  16. Cool, better than I've got from the UK, too low for me.
  17. Cool, well done. The ring nebula is one of my favourite object's. Hoping to image that when darker night's come back hopefully in August.
  18. We've had terrible trouble with fox's, lost seven of our chicken's a few months back during daylight. Suffice to say we alway's put our girls to bed before dusk, never later than 6.30pm even now cus of the foxes. Saw one fox cub brazenly trotting past our house early one evening last week. We've also lost a duck last year, just tore the head off and left the body.
  19. Hi again, just spotted you're in Bristol, there is a Bristol Astronomical Society if you're interested, just Google it to get their meeting time and dates. Every Friday but I think they're less often during the summer months.
