Seems as though my socks are safe, forecast has changed.... how predictable!

Hope you got the chance old chap! Forecast here was clear from 10pm to 7am.... shame the sky didn't agree. Not too disappointed as the moon was bright and there are so few hours of real darkness these days... think I might have to retire for a month or two from imaging and practice my processing... and maybe get a scope for visual to pass the time! :-)

Tonight has been alright, better than Thursday anyway! I ended up chucking out most of that nights data because it was just damaging the image.

I tried. was up until 1am but it was just to windy :(

It went very well indeed! Scope was behaving and the sky was perfect... shame I had work the next day!

Has to be the 71 but I am biased.

lol... well its all academic now as its been cloudy since I put the scope out (typical!). I'll give it another hour then give up.

Don't worry... Clear skies are on their way back now. With perfect timing too - the claggy cloud has been over the Full Moon, but we will all be enjoying perfect conditions for the coming New Moon.

At least, that's what my therapist has suggested I keep repeating to myself....

Well, if it isn't tomorrow - I might get some clear sky on mon/tue. But that's going to be a long, boring  weekend  in between... bah!

Horrendous conditions and a good deal of work to clear up and make good after this devastation - hope house, obs? and astro gear are all safe'n sound.

Yeah, the house is ok, thanks. Good thing I keep all the gear indoors really. Its not worth fixing anytime before Sunday otherwise it will just get smashed again.

Same. Had the dreaded lurgy for the last week but desperately want to go out tonight!

Looks like my rant was heard! Now a blue(ish) sky, not great - but perhaps good enough for last minute testing before packing up the gear for SGL9.
