  1. A very striking and colourful image.
  2. Very nice Brendan. That's a tough and very feint target.
  3. Thanks Adam. Worked hard on the stars. Thanks Steve, hopefully next year I'll get a chance to add to it. Thanks Martin, I think the Anemia could be down to the fact that the left hand panel had only 24*180 second subs with the duoband. I might try a version with boosted saturation in that area.
  4. Thanks again Gorann. I chose it as it was the only one of it's kind when I bought it. There're better alternatives now but they're quite expensive. I think the Stc is 12nm and I believe there're others with about 6nm which would be better suited to imaging when the moon is about. It's quite an efficient way to use a colour sensor however.
  5. Thanks. Thanks. Glad you like it. Thanks Padraic. Thanks, agreed reminds me of some sort of Japanese logo. Thanks Andy.
  6. Thank you Nugs.๐Ÿ‘ Thanks Steve, much appreciated. Many thanks Brendan Thanks Dave, not quite the fov you managed with your great image. Thanks Lee, this is one I really enjoyed exploring while processing.
  7. Hi all, managed to add another panel to my Flaming star image from January. App really makes integrating mosaics seamless, great piece of software. 2 Panel Mosaic 5 hrs of Ha/Oiii with an Stc Narrowband filter. Mixture of 300 and 180 second subs at gain 100 5 hrs of rgb mix of gain 100 and 0 and mix of 150/180 second subs I used SgPro for sequence, APP for integration and PI, APP and PS for processing. Shot with an Asi2600mc through a Takahashi Epsilon 160ed mounted on an AzEq6. Hope you like it. Richard.
  8. Nice, you did well to get anything. I gave up about 22:30 as the haze was ruining my data. Same conditions here again tonight so I didn't bother setting up.
  9. Hi Andy, Thanks. I used this method http://bf-astro.com/tutorial/addHa.htm. I'll try out your method for comparison๐Ÿ‘
  10. Yes, strange pink/red tones๐Ÿ™‚ the stars did dominate the field but with the many tricks I've learned here from people generous enough to share, I think the nebula still shines. Appreciate the comment.
  11. Thanks Ciarรกn, appreciate that. It could really have done with more rgb but given the conditions here lately it will do nicely. Just happy to get some clear sky. Ref the stars on the right, I had noticed that too and like you I don't remember noticing before.
  12. Thanks Peter, the ha overpowered it but a quick blend with the rgb layer brought it back.
  13. Great M51 Peter, wonderful detail and colour.
  14. Thanks again Lee, would've liked to get at least double the time on this but it's out of reach for me now for this season. A little tip for the stars, since they were so small with the 3nm ha filter you can select the ha stars and paste them as a layer in PS changing the blend mode to luminosity, adjusting opacity to taste. This has the added bonus of increasing the colour of them too.
  15. Thanks Adam, glad you like it.
  16. Very nice Alan, a new one for me too.
  17. Had a very narrow window on Sunday night to add a couple of hours rgb to the Ha I gathered about 4 weeks ago. 80*120 second subs at gain 0 32*300 second Ha with an Antlia 3nm gain 100 5.3 hours total. Processed in PI, APP and PS. Asi 2600mc through a Takahashi Epsilon 160, mounted on an AzEq6. Richard.
  18. Wonderful image Goran, love the colour in the IFN.
