Well atleast I now know I have found M5.

I mentioned that I managed to get 300 x mag on the lunar surface on Monday night with my ed120. I'm in Northamptonshire.

I still have a set of 32mm 25mm and 15mm tv plossls. And use them as much as my widefield nagler and ethos.

I have to say the co nditions have been great tonight for lunar observing. I managed to get my ed120 up to 300 x mag with nice clear results.

Been looking for this over past weeks. Think I may have found it tonight . With my ed120 it's just showing as a faint fuzzy ball. Using 26mm nagler. I did try a 10mm ethos but still no real detail to be seen. I'm sure it is M5. Can anyone tell me if I should get good detailed views with an ed120 ? Paul

Upgraded my eq5 mount with an ADM puck and dual saddle.

I've just ordered an eq5 tripod adaptor for my az-gti. I will be getting the saddle upgrade next.?

Yes you did . We arranged a price but you changed your mind on selling the focuser. So you sold it to me with a T.S. optics focuser. Since sold that and ordered a green moonlite. At the time of buying the focuser it was a toss up of either up grade the 120 ed or buy the new s.w. 150 ed. I did the right thing in my opinion. Its made a huge difference with my heavy eyepieces.

Yes i love it. Its my baby lol. Not for sale ...... EVER. spent hours learning with it and lots of upgrades. I did tell you at the time of purchase I'm new to astronomy and would look after it ?

Well Stu fitted the centre finder on when I purchased the scope from him 4 years ago. I then upgraded the focuser which came with 2 more.

Hi John I think it may have been you I spoke with a few days ago about a 2 inch x2 powermate. ? My main usage would be with my william optics 73mm zenithstar and dslr firstly for lunar pics.

Looking for people's thoughts on televues 2 inch x2 powermate vs explore scientific 2 inch x2 focal extender.

Enjoy the 120 ed. I've owned one for almost 4 years. And love it. Later on you may consider an upgrade for the focuser to a moonlite.
