  1. Yes I'm hoping to at least be out with bins at the time. I was 4 years old at that time . But remember televised images during the later missions in the early 70s.

  6. I'm considering buying a 2 inch 0iii filter for visual use. Can someone please advise if they make much difference visually for deep sky. Also is it worth paying the high price for an astronomik filter over a baader.

  9. Think I may have slightly over exposed this. ISO 800 shutter speed 50th sec. Any thoughts would be helpful. I'm now thinking it should have been ISO 200 shutter speed 125th second.? Paul

  16. I've been lucky with buying scopes. Just have 2 refractors and was very careful with my purchases making sure they would do what's required for my needs. Eyepieces are a different story. Bought and sold loads. But now have a set I'm very happy with.
  17. Got this to help balance between my 2 inch and 1.25 eyepieces.
  18. As mentioned I use al 3 Skysafari.starwalk and stellarium.
  19. I'm not at all downhearted. I love my ed120.šŸ˜ And fully understand you need different scopes for certain tasks. For instance even though Jupiter is very low my ed120 still gave me some very nice details of the surface this week. Also spent many nights observing the bee hive and the stars are pinsharp.šŸ˜
