      Excellent lens for many purposes. Just borrowed my mates 50mm f1.4 for a wedding I shot and struggled to give it back :p

  5. No, missed out on another camera lens.

  6. Not a bad day. Solar viewing, observed the Moon, Mars and Neptune then tracked the ISS through the 127mak.

  7. Off to perranporth tomorrow for a week. Hope to get some good milky way shots.

      20x80 bins and tripod for the in-law, and a 2.5 barlow for myself. Didn't really need one but as I was there it would have been rude not to come away with something for myself.

  12. Ordered tube rings and mounting plate on the 26th and still they haven't turned up with no update. Getting a little bit peed off now!

  17. Skies looking good for this evening. Neighbour wants to have a look through the scope. Hopefully can them interested then I will have an observing partner.

  20. StarSense finally update. Just need to try it out now.

      I got some solar film the other day but it is awful to use. Was too paranoid about damaging it or getting finger prints on it.

      Couple of months wont do me any harm.
