  1. No way I could image it here, to much ground clutter and far to much LP. 🥴
  2. Aircraft with landing lights on coming towards you, appears to be stationary then makes a turn and disappears. It used to happen a lot here when planes stacked for Gatwick came from the east towards us. You will not hear any noise as the planes could be many miles away.
  3. Thanks for the nice comments. I'm not to sure on CMOS quality, 2minute subs do not bring out the faint stuff, image lacks quite a bit. IMO noise seems ok but longer exposures may be, I don't know enough about these modern CMOS sensors.
  4. Rho Ophiuchi 90x120secs Sigma 105mm F/1.4 Art Lens Stopped down to F/2, ZWO ASI-2600MC Pro Colour CMOS from Roboscopes@eEYE
  5. Looks very good to me. We see lots of emission nebs so nice to see the odd reflection.
  6. Hi from Sussex as well.
  7. The only youtuber I watched when starting out was Forrest Tanaka, then I found SGL.
  8. I bet Mr Penrice will have something to say about that. 😉
  9. Get as close as possible and see how it goes. When I did my CCD lens combo I just got with in 1mm, using a vernier, your mileage my vary.
  10. Looks like the super bias is posterized, may be a resampling or conversion problem.
  11. Not sure what the image circle is but it most likely will not cover full frame.
  12. I believe the ZWO back focus already takes into account the glass, the 17.5mm will be the optical path.
  13. Taking on Oneweb as well. Oneweb is now part owned by all of us as the GOV has a share. Supposed to be 48000 sats eventually.
  14. Veil widefield from data captured at Roboscopes located at e-EYE in Spain. Setup is ZWO ASI-2600MC Pro Colour CMOS and Sigma 105mm F/1.4 Art lens stopped down to F/2 This was 180x60secs and my first go at CMOS colour data. Stacked in DSS and knocked up in PS CC.
  15. With that setup you can do static widefield shots. Exposures will be relatively short, depending on the lens but you can easily make a start in AP. Try this for starters. https://www.lonelyspeck.com/
  16. Should have said with in +/- 0.5mm and in some cases +/- 1mm may be ok.
  17. Should be fine, with in 0.5mm should be ok.
  18. It could possibly go slightly out of focus, depends on the lens. Most likely best to check focus once and a while just in case. When I have used my Canon lenses on a dslr never had to refocus as far as I can remember. May be I was lucky, but my lenses were the really expensive red rings, your mileage may vary. I have never had my Samyang need refocusing even over several hours, it seems rock solid with a belt drive, btw I use mine on an Atik CCD and use their software to focus.
  19. You can easily focus using 10x liveview and a high ISO. You should be able to see stars and the correct focus is a small window where the stars are sharpest.
  20. Not an expert on 130pds but is the focuser solid and not got any movement?
  21. No need to apologise as that's a smashing image and every one can have a go.
  22. Although some lenses say they are macro they are not and have a poor reproduction ratio. A tube or tubes will be needed to get anywhere near 1:1.
