    Poor seeing last night, but managed a fun session playing with a new lens and my DIY hot-shoe mounted laser pointer.

      Agreed it was pretty grim!

      Not surprising double stars are dominating my observing sessions now. When Andromeda looks like a small spherical smudge what else can we do? :)
