  1. Thanks Peter. I have since replaced the KAF-8300 with both mono and colour versions of the ZWO2600/QY268C but havent used them really much with the so looking forward to seeing what can be achieved (esp with the new 3.5nm Ha filter, designed for very fast scopes)
  2. Fantastic Peter! I've had a quick go at this one myself in luminance (KAF8300), and am greatly interested in your image as it was also with an Epsilon 180ed! I hope you continue to post more from the 180ed to give me a bench mark to work to
  3. Thanks Richard, couldnt find that data myself, looks to be 100mm.
  4. Cheers Olly, my logic was to copy Tak - they have likely good reason for their spacing and figured that it must be stable enough! The smallest Losmandy dovetails I've seen at 180mm.
  5. I plan to do a side by side comparison with the Baader 3.5nm high speed versus the Baader normal 7nm filter (which works down to F2.8)
  6. They make a set for F5 and Baader claim to work just fine with CCD
  7. LOL they are for sale on Baader website - I've been speaking with Michael @ Baader about them over the past few weeks.
  8. These are out today but doesnt look like the 2" ones are available yet though. CMOS-optimized Baader filters available | QHY News (mailchi.mp) (Ultra-) Narrowband / Highspeed - Filter (baader-planetarium.com)
  9. Does anyone know the length of the standard dovetail that is needed to be be used with the standard rings for the Epsilon. Even the 160 would measurements would do ok. Mine has different rings and a much longer dovetail, and I cant rotate the tube as result as it hits parts of the OTA, so want to shorten the space between the rings. Thanks in advance. Adam Cheers Adam.
  10. Very detailed Peter, a real triumph. What filters are you using - 65mm square?
  11. It's roughly the same size as the ZWO 2600MC. Here is it on the scope:
  12. Happy days, I dont think my mount would track for 6 hours and keep the disc centered. I'm working on tracking/guiding using Lu-Sol, but havent had a decent clear spell to test it.
  13. Very nice, colour and detail, 31 hours is a lot
  14. No it won’t. Lunt supply the glass and instructions to replace it, it’s not a modification. I had to rub mine a bit to get all the marks off but didn’t do any harm.
  15. A job well done! I love solar time lapse and you rarely see a full disc one. How did you track the disk?
  16. Very nice Paul, woke up early and eyeballed it yesterday through the window
  17. My Baader mark III MPCC loaner arrived today - courtesy of FLO and Baader - cheers! I ran off some flats this evening and the results show a significant improvement. I am using a Baader 7nm Ha filter with a QHY268M, on a SW 250PX
