Thanks for the reply.  I contacted iOPtron and they informed me that they believe the inaccuracies in the goto during inital star alignment is because of the magnetic variation (mag var) of magnetice north and true north.  In other words it was throwing it out of whack.  Apparently, if I read the email correctly, this firmware update was just released in the past week and its suppose to resolve this problem and correct a "sync to target" issue that was also popping up.  I downloaded the new update last night and hope to get the scope out over the next few days for a test run.  Again, thanks for you help and I will keep in mind your suggestion if this new update doesn't do the trick.  I will let you know.  Clear Skies.
