  1. Nice wide field shot, Always good to see.
  2. Both are fine images but for me I like the SHO one a little better.
  3. That looks brilliant, puts my effort to shame.
  4. Another nice one, you are certainly pumping them out. ! Or should that be pumking lol
  5. Hi Lee, Its the first one for me. It looks a little warmer to the eye ( not very scientific I know ) Great image btw.
  6. Ok, here is my attempt at following Adrians work flow ( thanks Adrian, would never have worked out how you did that ) to get extra detail.
  7. Thanks for that I will give that try when I get home.
  8. That's does look better, I have pushed the data on a later version but felt the noise had gone to far. What did you do to the data?
  9. I have wanted to do this Neb for a while and with the cutting down of the tree at the bottom of my garden I finally have a good view of it. The image was taken over 2 nights both of which was interrupted by cloud. The image doesnt stand up to very a very close look as I had to push the data more than I would have liked ( Will add more data at the next clear night to see if i can control the noise better ). To the boring stuff. 85 x 120s subs taken with my ASI 2600mc through my Askar 400 with no filter. c and c welcome. Thanks for looking.
  10. The stars a little worse but not that bad. The detail in the nebula looks that little bit better in version 1. But i am using my poor old eyes.
  11. V nice Rodd. Think the first one just has the edge but I think both are good.
  12. A fine wide field image! another thumbs up from me for the camera. Just love mine too.
  13. Think the second image has better detail but the stars in the first image look more controlled. thats with my untrained eye!
  14. Brilliant, luv the colour and depth.
  15. Just luv the colours of this image!
  16. Just to add my thoughts, Im no expert and have both an ASI 1600 mm and an ASI 2600mc. I loved my ASI1600 and the mono images it produced but I always felt I need to give a subject a lot of time to get a good image using narrow band filters. Also I was never happy with the results I got with RGB filters so I got a ASI2600 mc, I also got an optolong Enhance filter with the camera and after trying found I could get an image that I was pleased with in a lot less time. Was it as good as the ASI 1600 with a long exposure time? No but I was getting to see more targets and enjoying the images Im getting. I have since purchased an Optolong Extreme filter which I feel is giving better still results, not in the ASI 1600 narrow band filter results class but just good enough to make me happy. Im not getting rid of the ASI 1600 just yet as there are a few targets out there that i think it will really excel with but for just shear pleasure of seeing an image in a shorter time as possible I dont think you can beat the ASI 2600 mc at the moment.
  17. V nice! As always you produce impressive works.
  18. Thank you, Not as nice I would have liked but I have got to the stage in processing it the more I do the worse it gets. I need to get more data but think I will leave that till another time and move on to a new target. BTW the tree has gone! got more sky now than I know what to do with! just got to get rid of the house next door 👹 lol.
  19. Still no expert on stuff your asking, all I can say is I like the images you are producing.
