    Hi from Liverpool

  9. It will be perfect when you try it in the dark when you have a black background, the knob you switch it on with also brightens and dims the red target lines, you can try it in a dark room or cupboard. You need to be at a distance of about 18" to 2 ft away for it to be effective , keep both eyes open when lining up, centre a star through the eyepiece of your scope, then adjust the Rigel with the three knobs at the front, then move your scope to another star, using the Rigel first, then look through the eyepiece and the star should be there, if not make the adjustment on the Rigel.
  10. That's a great head's up, thank you for sharing.

  12. The Baader Moon and Skyglow filter was the first filter I bought, and I use it for all the planets, it's the most used filter I have, but I have to admit, I do love our Moon. I never thought of using it on my binoviewer, must give it a try.
  13. Hello Lorenzo, and welcome to SGL, hope you enjoy the community, and I am sure you will enjoy your stay in the UK, see you around the forums. Clear Sky's.
  14. There is an advert in Aprils Astronomy Now's classifieds, which headlines "Observatory for sale" it includeds scope, camera, eyepieces, oh and a bungalow with wildlife meadow included.
  15. Also the Rigel is much lighter than a Telrad, it won't upset balancing your scope to much, you don't need the extra battery pack because the coin batteries last a very long time, that is if you remember to switch it off when you are not using it.
  16. Well your forecast was spot on, the best session I have had for a long time, thanks again for a great tool.
  17. It's great, everything I need to know in one place, and a Moon phase too, can only say a very big thank you, and tonight's forecast is, clear sky's, and that has been a rare occurrence lately, once again thank you.
