simplest stacker i have used, if you use the scripts option is Siril ,can look daunting at first as Siril can be complicated looking at it for the first time , but using the scripts then its a few mouse clicks once you know what to do .

You can use a Y- usb to C connector lead on rpi 4 if your power bank has dual USB ports so if each port is 2.1A that will supply 4.2A giving you the required power , I got a lead off EBay fairly cheap .

If your thinking of getting the 200PDS(not light ) for Astrophotography then you probably be better getting an Eq6 or choosing a 150pds to go on the Eq5 weight wise the Eq6 takes a heavier payload ,the Eq5 will be on the limit , others may confirm this , I started out with a 200p on an Eq5 now have it on a Eq6( quite heavy though) maybe if your looking for a portable set up then heq5 and a small refractor , as you already have a 7D (m31 with a 7D off Flickr ) why not concentrate funds on the mount and use 7D with lens and maybe a guide camera good place to look for used equipment https://www.astrobuysell.com/uk/propview.php £1000 doesn’t go far in this hobby 😂 decisions decisions 🤔

That was my review btw , I recently stopped using it as it messes the star colours as in I get Aqua stars as it filters the yellow spectrum, so I was going to try just using it for luminance and add that to unfiltered data just to see if the results were any better.

you could reference some of the stars that are aqua and look up what the kelvin colour should roughly be , maybe that is their colour.

Are you using any filters

There’s a setting in DSS cosmetic tab that causes halos with the D2 if ticked think it’s hot pixel will check later

when you plug camera in do you get a sound notification you plugged in a usb device ?

So opening up APT and BEFORE plugging camera to pc what, choose camera and pressing connect will bring up the camera dialogue box what camera is marked up as the chosen camera ? .

Go to tools bottom of screen >object calculator check you have selected correct camera just incase you swapped back to your nikon ,

If you have a shed ,if not why not make a small water proof enclosure big enough to hold sockets ,12v psu then get a sparky to run armoured cable to that , then run 12v to pier via conduit underground , personally I would avoid 240v to a weatherproof socket open to elements , put it in a decent weatherproof insulated dry enclosure .
