I have had two WO scopes, one I still have and they have been top notch scopes. I also have an Altair Astro 80 APO triplet which is also excellent. Have look at the TS Optics TSQ 80 Quadruplet it's a true APO and you would not need to buy an additional field flattener. Also, you don't really need to worry about the back focus issues incorporated with field flatteners/reducers. Steve -

I've owned the Tal1, Tal2 in the past and are robust scopes with quality optics. My current Tal 200K is a keeper though...... Steve
