The decision on a dslr is over... at last

Ive done It.

I bought an 1100d on ebay.

£115 with lens and all the gubbings.

At last I can relax on this issue.

What was most frustrating was that a local camera shop had one in stock. Used. They could not confirm the actuations or the age and yet were totally unwilling to negotiate.

I appreciate that the price was there and they have a living to make but it was the attitute. I knew the camera had been there for ages so it was in effect just a stock item on which he was loosing money in reality as the longer it sits on the shelf the less desirable it becomes.

The attitute was take it or leave it. I expect to see it there again in a few months!

Thanks guys. Lets hope it makes it here in 1 piece.

Juat the coma corrector to go and I am officially done on the equipment front.

Not many people say that on here.

They do, then they go buy some more.

Have you an intervalometer/remote time for the Canon?

Yep. I used byeos and run it all remotely.

I do have an intervalometer also just in case.

Igenuinely think my kit is done, bar the coma corrector.

  • 4 weeks later...

Good choice, and if the guy gave you attitude, stuff him... go to the store with your camera and tell him that now, because of him being stubborn as a mule that being a fool, he can eat his shelved camera for breakfast....

Wish I had a local camera shop nothing for miles.

I had a 1100D and very good it is too, the supplied lens is much better than the plasticy apperance would suggest.

Alan

I thought you legally had to accept cash in payment up to certain levels?
