2nd shot with barn door

here it is folks. My second shot using my newly made barndoor tracker. I was able to get the rosette as well as a very slight hint of Barnards Loop which im pretty stoked about!

7 subs w/ 5 darks

120sec @ f3.8

AND I modified it today with a homemade scope so I can easily align with polaris and added a light so I can read the tracking gear. so check it out!

Awesome results. Seriously, if you want a cash stream these will sell to those of us who don't know a hammer from a spanner :(

haha that is true. I'll think about :). I'd certainly like to refine my mount before i even think about asking around though :p

very, I recently moved from Vermont to Oregon. theres a bit more light pollution here but I'm thinking I'll have to break the set up out again for some winter showings.

Great thread to be bumped up, I am in the process of building the hinge tracker a.k.a "No-wood barn door tracker" :D

In the image above you mentioned the exposure time, is that per shot or the total for the 7 shots?

thats 120 seconds each exposure so a total of 840 seconds when stacked.
