Hello all

I have been interested in the sky from almost the first time I saw it.I have a small telescope and a couple of pairs of bins.The reason I am on here is to ask with £60.00 to spend which binoculars or spotting scope are the best value for money or indeed you would purchase.

Here's another vote for the Bino's, not least because you can use both eye's and get the maximum benefit from the equipment.

Thanks very much for all your replies. I will go with those bins they are my birthday present from my missus. I would also like to say that it was a refreshing change form every other forum that I have been on not to have negative comments sent my way regarding the relativly small amount of money I was willing to spend, I was fully expecting someone to say something so yay go all of you!.Soggy bongo did you move to Weeton or away from the area all together.

You will need a tripod to use these binos properly as they tend to get a bit heavy hand held (you'll be alright for a few minutes without one!!).
