Yeah - who needs wide-angled eyepieces ?!?

Actually I'm not sure I would miss my nagler if I replaced it with, say, a 60 or even 55 deg quality eyepiece, especially as I get coma with it. I'm perfectly happy with my WO 6mm SPL with it's 55 degree field, even at X300 which means I have to nudge my dob every 40 seconds.

the TV plossls are a wonderful and relatively inexpensive bit of kit - gorgeous! a 15mm is next on my hitlist. then with a 9mm (and possibly a 7mm Baader GO my own set to service two scopes is complete!).

Got my first Meade 5000 series in 1.25", and am not nearly as happy with it as I thought I would be.
