Here's an image taken on the night of 21/22 September, roughly 12 hours after Jupiter's opposition showing the relative sizes of Jupiter, Uranus, Ganymede and Europa. The GRS is on Jupiter's central meridian at the time of the shot.

These are absolutely wonderful images, Pete. Wonderful detail on Jupiter and look at the detail resolved on Ganymede! Brilliant and inspiring stuff. Lovely image of Uranus.

Is it just me, or does it looks like Jupiter is bulging in and out of the monitor?

Maybe some kind of optical illusion, or my glasses really needs changing.

I see that David Hinds is currently offering a C-14 OTA for under £5k. To be honest, this isn't that expensive when you see some of the kit that's being used in the deep-sky section. A Paramount ME mount alone, cost's twice that price!!
