What sort of pier is your wedge/scope sat on? Looks like a wooden table hehe

I'll have you know that's a Geppetto special 8)

4*4 timbers with 1.5" ply top

buried 3' into a huge chunk of concrete.

Little box with door near the top containing 12volt supplies/ USB's / red led lamp and serial cable for DSLR.

Solid as a rock!!

Wooden table :shock: PAH!

Continued:

All powered by a huge 12V battery which is trickle charged by a solar panel

on the shed roof....

Underground pipe feeds all cables from pier to shed.

Shed is double lined and insulated...

Wooden table!! I say PAH! again..

This thing eats wooden tables for breakfast 8) 8) :rolleyes:

it is the business, just the thing when it's cold go in the shed put the heater on and connect to the scope, have got an electric focuser so i don't have to open the door and let the cold air in :D not a wimp honest :rolleyes:

will have a look to see if there is a model number on the panel if you cant find the info.

here is the control box point has now got a cable for long exposure dslr remote

I had to walk past my shed this morning, almost upsetting, Orion stuck up there bold as brass and Saturn blinding me. I got in the van to go to work thinking that I'd see these all the way there as I was heading south. Two corners later it was totally clouded out so if I'd opened the shed, I'd still have got nothing.
