Hi everyone, I'm the latest recruit - just re-discovered my interest in the night skies (well, at a more serious level). Splashed out on an ETX90, but I wish I'd looked around more before I did, could've saved over a ton! Ho Hum :)

In case you're wondering, born 1952, star sign Leo, hence username.

Location: just south of Leicester

Name: Malcolm Burton

Football team: Nottingham Forest(?)

Job: Local Government Officer, Husband, Father and Grandad

Have I missed anything?

Welcome aboard Leo/Malcolm,

The ETX90 is officially the worlds best selling quality telescope ... enjoy :)

I look forward to reading your posts,

Steve :)

PS: I know from experience that the most useful extras for an ETX are: dew-shield, flexi-focus and portable power-pack.

Hi Malcolm/Leo,

Welcome to forum, hope you enjoy it. Look forward to your future posts.

The ETX90 is cracking scope, it's performance is far greater than the aperture would suggest.

Regards, a fellow local government officer!

Russ
